Structural Engineer

## About the Role Arup is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its San Francisco or New York office. This role supports Arup's award-winning structural engineering practice on a wide range of building typologies, from complex cultural institutions to high-rise commercial towers. ## Responsibilities - Perform structural analysis and design for buildings in steel, concrete, and timber - Develop construction documents and specifications - Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams - Contribute to project delivery from concept design through construction - Support sustainability and performance-based design initiatives ## Qualifications **Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - 3–8 years of structural engineering experience - Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent - Experience with AISC, ACI, and ASCE design standards **Preferred:** - PE license - Experience with seismic design (especially California or Pacific Northwest) - Passion for innovative and sustainable structural systems ## About Arup Arup operates as a global collective of 17,000+ designers and engineers.
