Civil Engineer — Site Development

## About the Role Langan is seeking a Civil Engineer — Site Development to join its Philadelphia office. Langan provides expert land development engineering and environmental consulting services and is consistently ranked among the top ten "Best Firms to Work For" by the Zweig Group. ## Responsibilities - Assist with planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects - Develop site layouts, grading plans, drainage designs, and utility plans - Coordinate with local agencies for permitting and approvals - Collaborate with architects, planners, and environmental engineers - Support construction administration and field observation ## Qualifications **Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - 2–6 years of site/civil engineering experience - Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software - Knowledge of local permitting processes (Philadelphia, southeastern PA) **Preferred:** - PE license or EIT certification - Experience with mixed-use, residential, or institutional land development - Familiarity with stormwater management and green infrastructure ## About Langan Langan has been a trusted partner for complex urban development projects for over 50 years, with 30+ offices across the US and internationally.
